‘Hair’ is a drawing by me using Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. When I was a young student many years ago at the University of New South Wales, College of Fine Arts, I created a large self-portrait painting with a lot of hair. Nearly the entire canvas focused on hair, and my face was almost drowned in it. It was an acrylic painting, which I no longer have. This inspired this drawing, which is a similar idea. I do like hair, especially long hair, which I have had most of my life, with some other hairstyles in between.
