This is from my Moleskine Watercolour album (journal). I used a black Uniball Eye Micro pen, a black Sharpie, a white Posca pen, and watercolour for some areas of the drawing, such as the lips, eyes, the cat’s noses, and the patterned background. The intense green eyes are the focus of the portrait, with the elaborate lashes and luscious lips. The cats have just squeezed their way into the portrait, very close to the woman’s face, but still, the woman’s face is the focus. She is indeed a fan of cats, just like me.
