‘Sea Garden in the Sky’ is an A3 painting on Arches rough watercolour paper. I love images of water, sea, and ocean life, and I love the colour green, so I painted a green sea garden and painted it on top of an Ionic column, which is also green. I used a fairly limited palette. The background resembles a sky; I used granulating watercolour to paint it, which took on its own forms and shapes. The painting of the sea garden on top of the column is an unusual juxtaposition.
